Bob L. Manning, a native of Manila, Arkansas, has been in the auction business for over 20 years. Prior to entering the auction industry, for a number of years Mr. Manning was employed in the automotive business and was the general manager for a Cadillac dealership. Subsequently, he managed a company that built and sold customized buses, primarily for the entertainment industry.

In 1977, Mr. Manning joined Delta Auction & Real Estate Co., Inc. of Memphis, Tennessee where he was Project Manager and Auctioneer for several real estate auctions nationwide. During this period, Mr. Manning also owned and operated a wholesale fish business shipping products all over the United States. He also owned a bait and tackle business and held a number of real estate investments. In 1980, Mr. Manning sold these business interests at an absolute auction in order to devote full time to the auction industry. That same year he moved to Chicago, Illinois where he represented Delta Auction & Real Estate as well as conducting independent auctions.

In 1983, Bob Manning moved to Texas to start his own auction business. In Texas, he has represented such prestigious real estate firms as Henry S. Miller Co. and Wm. Rigg Realtors.

Mr. Manning is a graduate of the Missouri Auction School of Kansas City, Missouri and has earned the Certified Auctioneers Institute designation from the Auction Marketing Institute at the University of Indiana. He is a member of the Texas Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association. Other organizations he has been affiliated with include the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and Lions International.

Bob Manning is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as an Auctioneer, License No. 6648 and the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Real Estate Salesman, License No. 0414330. Currently, Mr. Manning is owner of Manning's Auction Company and is available for auction services nationwide.

NANCY MANNING

Nancy Manning, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, has worked with Bob in the auction business for over 20 years. Nancy graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisiana Monroe, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education.

Nancy has held a variety of positions involving management and supervisory responsibilities in several major US companies. She has managed staffs of 2 to 20, while providing important mathematical, legal, and financial support to the companies. Most recently, she has served in a senior management position with a company having assets in excess of $1 billion.

Nancy is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association Auxiliary. She currently serves as President of the Texas Auctioneers Association Auxiliary.

Nancy is an active member of Financial Express Toastmasters, District 50, having been involved since the club was chartered in 1992. She has served the club in various officer roles, including secretary-treasurer, vice president membership, vice president education, president, and immediate past president. She also served District 50 as an Area Governor. Nancy has earned the Able Toastmaster designation and the Competent Leader Award.
